The “We Transform Waste into Art” workshops, carried out in collaboration with Istanbul Aydın University, Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), İleri Adımlar Association, Istanbul Aydın University Sustainability Coordination Office, and Yeşil Vatan Platform, are a hands-on educational project aimed at increasing sustainability awareness and promoting creative recycling practices.
Within the scope of the project, workshops are held regularly every Wednesday at 14:00 on the Istanbul Aydın University campus.
Through these workshops, participants are encouraged to transform waste materials into artistic products. During this process, environmentally friendly production approaches, upcycling techniques, and sustainable design principles are taught in a practical manner.
The main objectives of the project include raising environmental awareness among individuals, promoting behavioral change in waste management, and equipping participants with skills to integrate sustainable production practices into their daily lives.
